DISABLE/ENABLE

If the AP5 series radio gets lost or stolen, the system can disable the radio to prevent illegal use. A temporarily disabled radio can restore to normal use after being revived by the system.

TALK AROUND

This feature allows users to continue communication in direct mode when the repeater malfunctions or the radio is out of the coverage of the repeater.

This feature protects users’ voice communications against casual listeners. It inverts and restores the frequency spectrum of a certain frequency point to encrypt the voice.

TIME-OUT TIMER (TOT)

This feature allows the radio to automatically stop transmission when the preset transmission period expires, improving channel utilization efficiency.
